So, anything we need are forced to change in our init scripts?

applications", i.e. for applications that are deployed on Debian?

Correct, the LSB per se imposes no requirements on the init scripts
included in Debian packages.  (Policy does incorporate some
requirements that appear in the LSB, however.)
