DPL caretaking

Hey all,

Sorry this took longer than I'd hoped. Anyway here's the caretaking stuff
so we can get on with the DPL recall vote stuff without having to worry
about things being left in the lurch. I'll be trying to avoid exercising
any DPL powers from now until the votes are dealt with, assuming nothing
insane pops up in the meantime.

Here's the delegations/clarifications/whathaveyou. Delegations continue
until they're rescinded, unless specified otherwise.

(a) DPL recall vote

The discussion period for the vote proposed by Denis Barbier to recall the
project leader (Message-id: <20060920174322.GA4536@linuxfr.org>, Date:
Wed, 20 Sep 2006 19:43:22 +0200), along with the counter-proposal
by Loic Minier reaffirming support for the DPL (Message-id:
<20060921083952.GK31561@bee.dooz.org>, Date: Thu, 21 Sep 2006 10:39:52
+0200) is varied to one week.

Denis Barbier (barbier@debian.org) and Loic Minier (lool@debian.org)
are jointly delegated the power to vary the voting period for these
proposals by up to one week, and to vary the voting and/or discussion
periods for related proposals by up to one week. Such variances must be
jointly authorised by both Denis and Loic to take effect.

(b) Firmware vote

The discussion period for Frederik Schueler's
proposal, as amended by Manon Srivastava (Message-id:
<87wt7pdxdz.fsf_-_@glaurung.internal.golden-gryphon.com; Date: Wed,
27 Sep 2006 12:36:56 -0500) and accepted by Frederik (Message-id:
<20060927195358.GF21523@mail.lowpingbastards.de>; Date: Wed, 27 Sep 2006
21:53:58 +0200) is varied to one week. The voting period for the motion
is likewise varied to one week.

Don Armstrong (don@debian.org) is delegated the power to vary the
discussion and voting period of any resolutions or amendments related
to licensing and firmware issues related to the etch release that are
proposed on or after 00:00:00 UTC on the 30th September 2006.

(c) Debian logo licensing

Branden Robinson (branden@debian.org) is delegated the authority to
direct the SPI board in regards to copyright and trademark licensing
and registration with respect to the term "Debian" and the various
Debian logos.

(d) 2IC/DPL assistant

The delegation to Steve McIntyre (93sam@debian.org) of "Debian 2IC"
(Message-id: <20060423073721.GA6094@azure.humbug.org.au>, Date: Sun, 23
Apr 2006 17:37:21 +1000) includes the powers defined in 5.1(2), 5.1(3),
5.1(4), 5.1(5) and 5.1(9) of the constitution, and ends at the same time
as my term as DPL.

(e) Debian Auditor

Kalle Kivimaa (killer@debian.org) is delegated the role of Debian Auditor.
Requests by the Debian Auditor for any information regarding assets,
income, expenditures, and any other financial related information are to
be treated as having the full authority and support of the Debian project.

Cheers,
aj
