First off, James is not the only ftp-master and he admitted that he's
not the one processing most of NEW either. So there is really no reason
to pick on him other than for his nickname.

Secondly, I don't believe James tracks personal attacks on him and
cross-references those when it comes to the evaluation of new
maintainers. If this would be the case, the general Developer body would
revolt. The fact that almost every dissatisfaction with his work as
Debian Account Manager (as opposed to his work as Keyring-Maintainer or
ftp-master) is from the ranks of non-developers is a clear sign that
he's doing a good job in the eyes of most developers, IMHO.

Many developers also believe that NMUs are an hostile act or that dpkg2
will get ready some day.
