hi,

my recent experience updating my woody to KDE 3.1.2

added in /etc/apt/sources.list the row
deb hhtp://download.kde.org/stable/3.1.2/Debian stable main

then the command:
#apt-get update

then:
#apt-get dist-upgrade

done
