Firewire support for latest distribution
Hi! I am wondering if anyone there has a project going on to support the firewire Dazzle Hollywood DV bridge in Debian Linux? I strongly demand support for that and movie encoding and compressions. Once I have that support, I can totally do away with windows altogether. I am a student and a beginning programmer so I would not have the time or the ability to write my own programs like that yet. Please let me know if you guys are working on that stuff. Thanks
