Hello,

I am the Linux authority for Marconi Communications.

Several of our development teams want Linux as their platform but as yet
are unsure about which hardware supplier to use. Our current support contracts
include Compaq and Dell for the Windows environment.

Could you provide opinion on the preferred major hardware manufacturers
against the following suggested criteria; quality, reliability, driver updates,
support contracts, future, cost etc.

Could you also please provide details of the following if relevant:

     The distributions preferred hardware manufacturer,
     hardware partners of company,
     information related to testing.
