About 600 now I think; I'm not online at the moment but the following
command should produce a number:

ldapsearch -x -P 2 -b "ou=users,dc=debian,dc=org" -h db.debian.org "objectClass=debianDeveloper" dn

(Drop -x -P2 if you are using the potato version of openldap).

That should produce a list of all developers. If it only lists 500
you're hitting an internal limit in the database server, I'm not sure
if that was increased.

It's never been complete, registering coordinates is a voluntary action
which not all developers do.
