Bug#1095165: cups-filters: Setting for number of copies ignored
Package: cups-filters
Version: 1.28.17-3+deb12u1
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream fixed-upstream
X-Debbugs-Cc: ukleinek@debian.org
Hello,
when printing and specifying more than one copy to print, the setting is
silently ignored and only a single copy is printed.
This problem is already reported upstream at
https://github.com/OpenPrinting/cups-filters/issues/586 and noted to be
fixed in version 2.0.0.
The affected printer is an ECOSYS P5021cdw, the PPD was generated
automatically. Manually adding "*cupsManualCopies: True" fixed the issue
for me.
Would be great if a backport of this fix made it to stable. (I took a
quick look into upstream git, but failed to identify the commit to
backport.)
Best regards
Uwe
