I concur. As a user the hplip 3.24.4 version also adds new printer and 
all-in-one models that the current 3.22.10 doesn't support. MX Linux has 
a rebuilt Ubuntu 3.24.4 package in their own test repo and it has worked 
for me so maybe it's time to have this one built for Unstable/Testing 
and perhaps made available for Bookworm-backports.
