All, when doing a manual cli installation of gnome-core on Trixie the libcupsfilters2-common version 2.0.0-3 is already on the system past the installation of xorg and gdm3. Past the hold operation still the dependency error is shown. This did not work for me. What worked was to remove libcupsfilters2-common from the system. Best regards, Rolf
