The bug is fixed upstream in CUPS 2.4.3 and later and I have created 2Stable Release Updates (SRUs) for Ubuntu Jammy (CUPS 2.4.1) and Lunar(CUPS 2.4.2). So you could try these fixes and they could perhaps alsoget applied to Debian.
