Looking for solutions, I found this bug reported in 2018, "Debian Bug report logs - #886892 - evince: Prints n^2 copies if multiple copies selected"
I have right now the same exact problem with a lan label printer,
Brother ql1100nwb, using Ubuntu 22.04, OpenPrinting CUPS 2.4.1,
either sending prints from openoffice and gimp software.
Any suggestion will be really apreaceated.
