This makes me hopeful. However, I've shoved the printer into a VLAN of its own given how much bloody traffic I saw it generate out of nothing, and so now of course DNS-SD doesn't work out of the box, and I have not figured out how to coax it into submission yet.
But I'll give this a shot soon. Driverless printing and scanning! Wow!
