Bug#1010805: hplip-data: get_distro() fails with NameError: name 'distro_release_name' is not defined
Package: hplip-data
Version: 3.22.2+dfsg0-1
Severity: normal
Tags: patch
Hello,
get_distro() in installer/core_install.py fails with
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/hp-check", line 861, in <module>
dep.core.init()
File "/usr/share/hplip/installer/core_install.py", line 523, in init
self.get_distro()
File "/usr/share/hplip/installer/core_install.py", line 661, in get_distro
if 'MX' in distro_release_name:
NameError: name 'distro_release_name' is not defined
This patch fixes the exception for me, although I don't have an mxlinux setup to
check that it still produces the correct output in that case.
