Hello Yadd,

I feel I was a little less than helpful to you when the report was
closed. I would strongly suggest you abandon using HPLIP and instead

I have used my ENVY 4500 very successfully to print over USB and
wireless using the techniques on that page. In case scanning does not
work with the SANE driver, I would install sane-airscan. That
definitely works.
