Hello Debian printing maintainers, hello Didier, hello Till,

yesterday I wanted to set up priting on my new Debian bullseye laptop for my Epson ET-3750 printer. I did a `apt install cups` ... and my printer was there and I could print in color.

I am in awe.

This is the best thing that happened to me on computers for a looong time.

If ever we meet and I guess anytime we meet I owe you a beer!

I am at loss for words. Many, many thanks to you for this! 🙏

You should get driverless scanning too; installing sane-airscan
would be a good move. If you follow this advice, please give

 scanimage -L

 airscan-discover

Thanks for letting me know! Should airscan work over USB too?

It should.

It does 8-O !!!!

    $ scanimage -L
    device `airscan:e0:EPSON ET-3750 Series (USB)' is a eSCL EPSON ET-3750 Series (USB) ip=127.0.0.1
    device `imagescan:esci:usb:/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:14.0/usb3/3-2/3-2:1.0' is a EPSON ET-3750_Series

    $ airscan-discover
    [devices]
      EPSON ET-3750 Series (USB) = http://127.0.0.1:60000/eSCL/, eSCL

launched xsane, did a scan preview and then a 1200dpi (max) scan and marveled about the crisply visible fibres of the paper.

Oh thank you!!!
