Bug#918033: cups: please use consistent case (if needed, convert to lower case) for generated PPD files in /etc (reproducibly)
Package: cups-browsed
Version: 1.21.5-2
Severity: normal
Each time I run apt-get install/dist-upgrade, I see tons of messages like:
rename cups/ppd/{pr_dymo_bn_office_dymo_labelwriter_400_turbo_172_26_7_16.ppd => pr_dymo_bn_office_DYMO_LabelWriter_400_Turbo_172_26_7_16.ppd} (100%)
Please store the generated files under /etc/ in a reproducible
manner. If at all needed, converting them always to lower case
should help.
This is annoying for etckeeper.
