Hello Alex,

Please would you do the following, preferably on an unstable/testing
installation:

1. Comment out the entries in /etc/modules-load.d/cups-filters.conf.

2. Reboot without a parallel port printer attached to the machine.

3. Do 'lsmod | grep parport' and 'lsmod | grep lp' and report on which
   modules are loaded by the kernel.

4. Attach a parallel port printer, switch it on  and report on the output
   of 'lsmod | grep lp'

5. Give the kernel version used ('uname -a').
