Package: cups-daemon
Version: 2.2.7-3
Severity: important

Hi,

cups.service seems to spam the syslog and journal with the following
lines *every minute*:

May 10 19:06:30 scapa systemd[1]: cups.service: Service hold-off time over, scheduling restart.
May 10 19:06:30 scapa systemd[1]: cups.service: Scheduled restart job, restart counter is at 428.
May 10 19:06:30 scapa systemd[1]: Stopped CUPS Scheduler.

The cups service seems to be running normally, although I'd prefer
having it *not* running and only listening on the socket:

● cups.service - CUPS Scheduler
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/cups.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
Active: active (running) since Tue 2018-05-15 17:30:40 CEST; 20s ago
     Docs: man:cupsd(8)
 Main PID: 15235 (cupsd)
    Tasks: 1 (limit: 4915)
   Memory: 2.3M
   CGroup: /system.slice/cups.service
           └─15235 /usr/sbin/cupsd -l

May 15 17:30:40 scapa systemd[1]: Started CUPS Scheduler.

This report wasn't closed when #898745 was. I do not know why. Closing
now as Francesco seems happy with the outcome.

Regards,

Brian.
