Package: cups
Version: 1.3.8-1lenny4.1
Severity: wishlist
Please do not use hard links. Users of (file-)systems with limited hard link
support, e. g. OpenAFS, cannot simply install this package with "aptitude".
The use of hard links saves marginal diskspace, but leads to hassle on
every update of this package on some filesystems, so please just do without
hard links:

I think it could be wishful thinking after nearly eight years to expect
this enhancement request to be fulfilled any time soon. The question
becomes - should we carry this bug in the BTS indefinitely? I think not;
hence closing. Sorry.
Thank you for your report.
