Re: Plan for latest version

Hi Didier,

I'm using jessie and installed cups through apt-get. The version of cups is 1.7.5 and the bug I'm referring to is: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=203058

When printing with 1.7.5, the printer blocks after the first (printing) job and the printer remains in "Waiting for printer to finish" state. With 2.1.4-4, I'm still getting the same message (Waiting for printer to finish) but at least it's printing...

Best,

Nate

Please define "latest", and "through apt-get". Out of your message, we have
zero information regarding the distribution you are using, or its suite
(wheezy, jessie).

Please mention what is that version, and which bugs you are referring to. It
could be possible to backport bug-fixes to stable, for example, or provide a
CUPS backport, if that's what would solve your unavailability to use your
printer. But you'll need to be more precise.
