Thanks for your help!
I removed the lines with "cup-browsed" in printers.conf and now the file
is not changed anymore.
They must come from an early version of CUPS, maybe from Jessie?
I do not remember putting them manually into the file.
Now my only problem is printing from my PC (Debian Jessie, CUPS 2.02
from experimental) to an Oki C5950 printer on the server (also CUPS 2.02
).
I always get "Create-Job: client-error-not-authorized (Der Drucker oder
die Klasse ist nicht freigegeben.)" and the print job is halted.
And a popup with "opc-life-over" from the Mate desktop.
All other three printers on the server are working without problems.
Printing over the old server (Debian wheezy 7.8 with CUPS 1.5.3) with
the same PPD works.
But I cannot find any (helpful) informations about this problem with Goo
gle.
