I agree.  Can you contact them?

It looks like foomatic-filters is supposed to be replaced by cups-filters.  I
confirmed that /usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip from cups-filters 1.0.57-1
still segfaults on the PPD with the invalid default value.  cups-filters is
maintained by debian-printing, which I'm goint to Cc:
