Bug#742668: cups and systemd - old troubles

Dear Maintainer,

During updating Jessie (amd64) I have the same problem:

Errors were encountered while processing:
 cups-daemon
 cups-core-drivers
 cups
 printer-driver-gutenprint
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

A quick googling show, that most of big distros (Fedora, SuSE, Arch, Ubuntu...) had problems with cups/systemd interplay at least since 2012.

Comming back to Jessie:

1. /etc/systemd/system/ folder shows

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root    9 Mar 28 21:20 cups.path -> /dev/null
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root    9 Mar 28 21:20 cups.service -> /dev/null
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root    9 Mar 28 21:20 cups.socket -> /dev/null

Is it normal, that all three files: cups.path, cups.service and cups.socket are pointing to /dev/null?

This is cups version 1.7.1-10.
With version 1.7.1-7 (after downgrading) cups was still working, and with version from wheezy (apart from breaking dependencies with jessie) I have managed to print few documents. However, cups version 1.7.1-7 is already removed from
ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/c/cups/
so I get stuck with broken 1.7.1-10.

Would you mind to temporary bring back previous version (1.7.1-7) to ftp repositories (for my manual downgrade) before you will fix the official jessie version?

Sincerely,
Wojciech
