Package: libdbus-1-3 Version: 1.6.16-1 Severity: grave Most of the times cups comes up I get this: Oct 25 20:27:57 aragorn kernel: [ 389.581166] cupsd[2937]: segfault at 8 ip 00007faeb7c98cd0 sp 00007fff18af7148 error 4 in libdbus-1.so.3.7.5[7faeb7c72000+45000] Sometimes actually this only happens when the printer is switched on or a job is send to cups. Today for the first time I got this instead: Oct 26 11:26:22 aragorn kernel: [ 53.133630] traps: cupsd[2992] general protection ip:7f4c61ba5c7e sp:7fff4b69f108 error:0 in libdbus-1.so.3.7.5[7f4c61b88000+45000] I'm not sure who's the culprit, libdbus or cups, so feel free to reassign. However, the effect is that my cups server simply disappears. Interestingly enough more often than not it works after a restart. Any idea? Hi Michael, hi all, This statement of yours was two weeks ago and none of you reported a new failure; so I'll assume that this is fixed and hereby close this bug as fixed in 1.6.4-2. Please don't hesitate to re-open if the bug reappears! Cheers, OdyXAttachment: signature.asc
