What output do you get in said mail?

These two bugs are fixed in Wheezy; please test cups 1.5.3-5 from Wheezy, 
including its dependencies; I wouldn't be surprised if some things would be 
fixed for you, including this. In any case, I will not fix bugs for versions 
not in the Debian suites, so please really make sure to reproduce your bug 
with a cups version as shipped in a Debian suite.
