I use quilt to handle patches.  Possibly gitpkg is better, but I am 
unfamiliar with it as of yet.  Don't switch to using that before I have 
become familiar with it.

Generally, please do *not* change packaging style without consent!

I notice that you've added a patch branch to the ghostscript git - 
please remove that again.
