Bug#670777: foomatic-db: Printer keeps "printing document" long after printing is done

Re: checking the problem on a Testing machine - not easily. Would it be an equivalent test if I just self-backported the applicable package(s)?

I have forwarded your bugreport to the upstream bug tracker. Could you maybe
have the opportunity to try if this problem is still present with a Debian
testing machine?
