Several segfaults in the CUPS Raster output device (this is used bygstoraster) and in Ghostscript in general got fixed in Ghostscript 9.04and shortly after. The fixes are all contained in the Ghostscriptpackage of Ubuntu Oneiric. I recommend to merge this package to Debian.
