Hi there! Please Cc: me, I am not subscribed to the list. NB, I think everyone involved with foo2zjs already knew my position, so this is why I decided to reply so late: better to repeat it to avoid any confusion ;-) On Wed, 25 May 2011 18:17:02 +0200, Didier Raboud wrote: > as you certainly know, since its 20110210dfsg-1 version, foo2zjs has been put > under the "Debian Printing Team" umbrella, so I took closer look at it. > > First, are you willing to keep maintaining foo2zjs ? As I stated back in the past, I do not, as the only printer I have that used foo2zjs (an HP Color LaserJet 1500L) is now broken. Michael, Steffen: do you mind giving me (or Didier) admin rights to the Alioth project and mailing lists, so we can "close" them redirecting everything to the Debian Printing team? > Second, as I couldn't get used to the (IMHO weird) svn repository layout, I > took the initiative to creat a git clone of it, that makes use of the usual > git-buildpackage techniques (upstream code in "upstream" branch, "pristine- > tar" branch to recreate the original tarballs, "upstream" gets merged to > "master" where packaging is done). > > This git repository currently lies in my ~/public_git on the writable alioth > (vaks). Then, for the actual Git repository, I completely leave it to you. I was thinking to try to migrate each upstream version to its own Git branch, but AFAIK this is not possible, so I do not care anymore. Thank you for stepping up in maintenance! Thx, bye, Gismo / Luca
