Some times the -dQUIET and -q options are ignored.  This is a problem
when - is used as the output file name.

This not critical.  Attached script sends it to a file rather than - to
get around this.

I like this program and use it in the remote sites so we have device
independent queues there.

Application servers have lpr script that is alias for rlpr, but applies
application specific filters to produce a device and application
independent stream.

There was no spurious output with the above output.
Did look like a component was making noise on FD 1.
