Package: cupsys
Version: 1.1.19final-1
Severity: normal
I used lpadmin to create a printer with the option -v socket://128.1.1.1
(not the real IP). I was unable to print to it.
When I went into the web interface, I found it was set to (as best I
recall) socket://:/128.1.1.1 --note the extra characters. I deleted
them, and was then able to print to the printer.
Since I have the terminal logs in an emacs session, I'm quite sure I
didn't type the duplicate characters.
Since this did render the package unusable, you might want to give this
a higher priority.
I'm on a testing system.
