I installed an Brother HL-2035 USB printer using system-config-printer
and it worked fine, because I had a PPD file that had proven to work.
Now, I was surprised to see that only one ninth of the page was filled.
Further testing let me learn that
- if I print a document of several pages, actually 9 pages are printed
per sheet.
- if I choose to print 2 pages per sheet, 2 pages per sheet are printed.
Strange, isn't it? I printed from kwrite, text files with lpr, and also
kpdf.
