Package: hpijs Version: 2.8.12-3 Severity: important Since I've upgaded HPLIP and HPIJS in SID my printer starts to work again so good sign. But this is not good enough as whenever I try to print something, I get the description of the PDF which is sent to the printer and not the "pretty" result on the paper, so I suppose an element is missing (Ghostscript ? But it might only be on my configuration). Anyway according to the bugreport ghostscript is installed on my system, so ... I'm lost here :/ Thanks for any help Regards, Robert Derochette -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=fr_BE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_BE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages hpijs depends on: ii cupsddk 1.2.3-5 CUPS Driver Development Kit ii foomatic-filters 3.0.2-20080211-3.2 OpenPrinting printer support - fil ii ghostscript 8.63.dfsg.1-2 The GPL Ghostscript PostScript/PDF ii hplip 2.8.12-3 HP Linux Printing and Imaging Syst ii libc6 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdbus-1-3 1.2.12-1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libgcc1 1:4.3.3-4 GCC support library ii libjpeg62 6b-14 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libsnmp15 5.4.1~dfsg-12 SNMP (Simple Network Management Pr ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8g-15 SSL shared libraries ii libstdc++6 4.3.3-4 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.12-13 userspace USB programming library hpijs recommends no packages.
