I can confirm this bug report. I upgraded to cups-1.3.11-2 recently and since then the service boot process is stopped because it asks for root password of my remote CUPS server. The server is still using an older version (1.3.8-1lenny4). -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
