Bug#517051: Obtaining the ink level from EPSON Stylus D88 stopped working after upgrading to escputil 5.2

Does this happen every time, or just intermittently?

For example, if you run the command 20 times (or more), do any
succeed?

Does the -d option correctly identify the printer?
