Hi, The warning about the plugin missing in the output of hp-check is a known issue in HPLIP 2.8.12, see: http://hplipopensource.com/node/312 Issue 2: The plugin installation status reported by hp-check may be incorrect. The status may show that the plugin is not installed when in fact that it is. Cheers!
