Bug#510857: Other reports in Debian and Ubuntu

These are the other reports I found, that look very much like the same problem:

I also found that it was present in Ubuntu, but apparently was fixed
after some upgrade in the last part of 2008:

However, the users don't really specify what made the problem go away
(I severely doubt that upgrading the kernel might have any effect in
pstoraster).

I hope we can find what's going on.
