Indeed, thanks for pointing this out. I recently added a patch so that
the cups backend runs non-world-exectuable backends as root, so that
we don't need to install them as 700, but can use 744 (which is more
Policy conformant). But apparently this breaks lpinfo -v.

This was introduced in 1.3.8-10 (rootbackends-worldreadable.dpatch),
thus affects Debian experimental and Ubuntu intrepid/jaunty. (For
intrepid we should do an SRU, see LP #275407).

I fixed that now.
