Subject: cups-driver-gutenprint: suboptimal image quality compared to Windows printout for Canon IP4300 Package: cups-driver-gutenprint Version: 5.0.2-4 Severity: normal *** Please type your report below this line *** Dear DDs, doing printouts with the Canon IP4300 the output using gutenprint printer drivers is bad compared to the ones using windows. An OpenOffice.org Calc document with an embedded image is printed. The picture is not as sharp and the contrast is not as good as the one produced with M$ Windows. I know the drivers are under development. Is there a guide with information for tuning or can I do other tests?
