Bug#499890: After upgrade: "invoke-rc.d:
I was just looking to report the same error message and found this bug.
Below are my results from the grep you suggest:

Strangely, only foomatic-filters-ppds reported the error during my
Lenny dist-upgrade. hpijs-ppds was quite OK:
