Hi Mark,

as a general remark:  Please concentrate on fixing RC bugs and do not
add noise due to new standards-versions and lintian nitpicks which
do cause us additional work and are *not* critical for the release.
Such cleanup should happen well before the release, not now.

You owe me at least one RC bug fix now.

No, thanks.  If you need something of it in Lenny please provide a
targetted patch.  Now that's what you get for your Lintian fixing
rage.

I don't see why this is needed.  Changes in the build system et al.
