Subject: cups-driver-gutenprint: set CMYK as default color modell for Canon IP4300 Package: cups-driver-gutenprint Version: 5.0.2-4 Severity: important *** Please type your report below this line *** Dear DDs, I set up a Canon IP4300 at a friends computer (Debian Lenny). She printed a document with OpenOffice.org Calc and some text was colored red. The red of the print out differed from the red on displayed on the monitor. Setting the color model from RGB to CMYK fixed this. I did not try other color models than CMYK. Is is possible to set the default color model to CMYK in the package? Thanks, Paul PS: Having no access to the machine right now, I do not know what gutenprint packages exactly is installed. But I think it was this one. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash
