If you create a new print queue in CUPS and try to print a test page,
what happens?

3) the printer load one paper without print anything and load just
another one paper that "throttling" '1 line up' and '1 line down'
indefinitely (in the same paper....)
I have sucess in compiling the source package gutenprint(from stable) in unstable
and the printer reborn :-) and in annex the diff of ppd from unstable and the new (old?:-)ppd file.
a interesting note is que "apt-get build-dep gutenprint" from stable repository required glib1.2 and
gtk1.2 (downloaded
from unstable repository) (that don't ocurred from source deb gutenprint in unstable repository...)
Please could you set LogLevel to debug in cupsd.conf, restart CUPS and
try printing, then have a look at the log (you can attach it to your
reply).
If you have a look at the PPD file for the old and new queues (in
/etc/cups/ppd), are there any differences (you can compare with diff).
