Bug#451105: Problem solved (Re: Bug#451105: Info received (cupsys: Same problem here))



This helped me:

1. Configuring cups to use UTF-8 for everything.
2. Configuring samba to use UTF-8 for everything, but the "dos charset" (leave it to CP850). 3. Convert all filenames for the samba server with convmv -r -f iso-8859-15 -t utf8 (use your chaset at -f !)
4. Reinstall the printer drivers onto the samba server.
5. Relink the printers.

Now everything works again.
