ESP started distributing again the CUPS driver for Windows, releasing version 6.0 back on May 1st 2006: http://www.cups.org/windows/ However, old versions (called cups-samba and not cups-windows) are still available (but not advertised) on the German mirror: http://ftp.rz.tu-bs.de/pub/mirror/ftp.easysw.com/ftp/pub/cups/windows/ However, since 6.0 is the first *stable* version, my advice is to not lose time trying to support anything prior to 6.0. FWIW, the CUPS driver for Windows 6.0 is supported by the cupsys version in old-stable (1.1.23-10sarge1) and works nicely with cupsys from stable (1.2.7-4etch2) when printing from Windows XP.
