Package: cupsys
Version: 1.1.14-3
Severity: wishlist

D-link USB->bidi converter: USB printer port is not included in list of
available ports, if converter is plugged AFTER cups is started.

Native USB printers: Should be feasable to auto-configure these when
plugged.

Perhaps a set of 'hotplug' scripts could do most (if not all) the work?

thanks

CUPS has improved auto detection around USB devices with using D-Bus.
It's not complete auto-install but is very nearly what submitter
requested.

Thanks,
