I wish to stop the cupsd daemon. I tried "/etc/init.d/cupsys stop" but it results in only the temporary shutting-down of the daemon; cupsd is automatically restarted within the next 24 or so hours. I checked under cron/at/inittab but could find no sign of it being restarted from there. How can I turn-off this automatic restarting of cupsd?
