I cannot clean print heads or check ink level on an Epson Stylus C82 (usb) via KDE, CUPS web page, or gnome programs. I can print test pages or other pages, but the output is so faint as to be illegible. The whole CUPS update has meant no printing for months now for me I'm afraid. I haven't seem any other bug reports about the faint printing issue, so I'm just waiting and hoping. Sorry to have to say that.
