Package: gs-esp
Version: 8.15.2.dfsg.1-2

I updated gs-esp from 8.15.1.dfsg.1.1 to 8.15.2.dfsg.1-2. After that I
discovered printing problems when using german umlauts in fonts supplied
through msttcorefonts. I saw the same behaviour when looking at the
postscript-files with gv.

I had a look at system configuration and all the encoding files but I couldn't
find any apparent configuration error. After downgrading gs-esp everything
works well again.

Find attached a small postscript-File with an example. You may not have a
german setup ;)

The dependencies have the following versions:

gs-common: 0.3.9
libfontconfig: 2.3.2-7
libc6; 2.3.6-6
libcupsimage2: 1.2.2-1
libcupsys2: 1.2.2-1
libgnutls13: 1.4.1-1
libice6: 1.0.0-2
libjpeg62: 6b-10
libpaper1: 1.1.14-3
libpng12-0: 1.2.8rel-5
libsm6: 1.0.0-3
libstdc++: 4.1.0-1
libtiff4: 3.7.1-3
libx11-6: 2:1.0.0-6
libxext6: 1:1.0.0-3
libxt6: 1:1.0.0-3
zliblg: 1:1.2.3-9

The system is based on Debian Unstable running kernel 2.6.17 on a Sempron
2800+
